The Dirt Dogs was a one rehearsal, one gig band, by design. Larry Lee and Freddy Moore had met backstage when the Scooters and The Kats played on the same bill. Weeks later Freddy and Demi Moore bumped into Larry and Maggie Lee on the sidewalks of Hollywood. The couples became great friends. Many years later Larry picked songs by Freddy that he'd like to play and Freddy picked songs by Larry he wanted to play. They each picked a cover song that they thought would fit in, then Larry picked the band members he wanted to play with. They rehearsed once and then played one set 'unbilled'! Both events were captured on a cassette recorder!
