I've got ot tell the world what I'm thinking
My mind isn't blurred, I ahven't been drinking
There's not a drop to in this long lost valley
Green oaks, the water soaks the dead wood
Brains can't float without a boat so I'm sinking
And, if I should chance to find my way out of this valley-
I know
I will find the city overe the hills and valleys
Across the golden gate and you're there
Freeway home, like living alone but there's more there
Out of reach the fuzz of a peach with a preacher
Plenty of food for conscience, but there's none for my mind
Up in the sky the conors fly while I'm crawling
Tried to climb, get over the line, but keep falling
And if I should take a chance to find my way out of this valley
I know
I will find the city overe the hills and valleys
Across the golden gate and you're there
The mothers sing, the fool's king and they're all blind
Unstreached minds, one of a kinds and I'm crying
Too bad I had to spend a day in LUCAS VALLEY ROAD
