As I set out
On this trail of mine
Well, I wandered
Though the countryside
But I rambled
Too far from home
I found myself on
OBLIVION ROAD
As a young man
I spent a lot of time
Chasing women
I couldn't keep from lyin'
But they locked me out,
In the cold
So I traveled down
OBLIVION ROAD
<INSTRUMENTAL>
Pretty soon
I found a place to hide
With a 12-pack of Bud
Always by my side
But I lost
Everyting I owned
As I crawled down
OBLIVION ROAD
Listen up
To what I say
Better straighten out
Or you'll end my way
I've been bought
And I've been sold
Now I'm bound for
OBLIVION ROAD
<INSTRUMENTAL>
