Tim McCarthy  was a Richfield High School buddy of Freddy Moore.

McCarthy co-wrote Garsiver's Dream.

When Tim learned that I was a songwriter, he challenged me to write a song 'to-order', he said "Write a song called "The Magic Lock" by tomorrow, and I did!"- Freddy Moore
